I know its been a long time since my last post…life, but a few days ago, I saw the results of a graphic collaboration between KIVA and a group of photographers.  The book is called

the “Plus One Collection“.  One guy, Ivan Makarov, and the social community on Google+ created this book to raise funds for KIVA. This non-profit organization has a mission to

connect people through lending to alleviate poverty.  Over 500 photographers came from all over the world, from Winnipeg, Canada down to New Zealand and Australia and from

Japan all the way to San Francisco. The book comes in 3 different versions, with a magazine in the making.

It never ceases to amaze me, how one person can take an idea and transform that concept into something tangible, with the power to change lives.

In the midst of so much poverty, hunger and violence, there are still people in the world who want to make a difference…and they get it done.
