journeypic

Now that I am retired at 55, I want to take some time with my family, go on a nice vacation, and come back to create my own business.  I want to share this journey, so I can help other women, just like me.

There are so many of us, who are retired, with skills, dreams and talents, but we don’t know what the first step should be. Figuring out how to bring these ideas to the surface, then turning this idea into a business, and making it profitable.

For me, I would love to work from home and use my photography skills in that business.  So I did my research and found this ebook on Pursuing Your Passion.  I liked it so much, I bought the rights to share this ebook with you.

It gives 6 Steps in Pursuing Your Passion:

1. Find Your Passion

2. Find Your Passion’s Skill Set

3. Monetize Your Passion

4. Productize Your Passion

5. Scale Your Passion

6. Live Your Passion with Intention

Of course, I want you to grab the free ebook for the details.

I used it myself to create a visual process for a product idea that I got in college.  Now I can turn this idea into an actual product and grow into a profitable business.

Come with me as I document this journey, you might start a journey of your own.

passion

What brings a smile and makes you feel happy every time you do it?

What natural, effortless talent or skill do you have?

What is the one thing you could do every day, and not get tired or bored doing it?

If you can identify the answer to these questions, it will lead you to your passion.

Since you have now identified that talent or skill, take a few minutes and think of ways to monetize your expertise.

You can talk and share your expertise through blogging, videos, ebooks, and the process of fueling your passion into profit begins.

People are looking for things like, how to take better iphone pictures, how to properly apply eye shadow, how to plan for early retirement, how to cook low fat meals.  You can be that person with the answers.

This is just a quick overview, to get you started on this wonderful journey of finding the ultimate plan for living your passion, and getting paid doing what makes you happy.

From personal experience, I had to take an early retirement, from teaching, to provide home care for both of my parents. Searching for ways to supplement my income, I took my talent of photography and my love for shopping to start a business from home.

Its a great feeling to share the shift that has taken place in my life, because so many people are looking to do the same.  This will always be a work in progress and you must continue to perfect your craft, whatever it is.

Just know that its all up to you to figure it out, conquer the fear, and take the first step.  We are here to help you.

Walking For the Cure

walk2

October 17, 2015, Rydere, a hight school student from Philly said it best:

Whether we walk for the cure, or talk for the cure,

It does not matter as long as we work together to help find the cure.

We may feel like we doing a lot,

but we can do so much more.

We cannot stop, until we find the cure.

Cancer is not just something that makes a woman stress,

It’s a sickness weakening her and attacking her breasts.

Men can get it too, so never think less,

We need to keep fighting, until we put this thing to rest.

This is something we have been battling for quite some time,

We have been our hard earned cash, sometimes every dime.

A good friend lost his Mom to breast cancer,

That’s irreplaceable, a woman of her own standard.

I just want people to be aware, prepared, not scared,

Cancer is something no one should have to bear.

We can change someone’s life, do it because it’s right, not for the hype.

Making a small donation can make someone’s dark pain have a little light,

Also make a victim who is diagnosed, have a little fight.

Cancer is something no one should have to endure,

We need to keep walking, talking, and fighting, together to help find a cure.
