retired

After 20 years of teaching in the public school system, I quit…well I took an early retirement, so that I can take care of my parents.  So much has changed but it feels so good to be here for them.  After the sleepless nights, the guilt of leaving them with professional strangers, and the needless stress,  an enormous weight has been lifted from my shoulders.

I know jobs these days are hard to come by, but there are times when an opportunity comes, and you have to take it.  I even felt a little guilty for leaving my boss, but I got over it.  Sometime in life you have to just go for it and take that leap of faith.  Yes it may be scarey, yes your cash flow will change, but you have to make a game plan.

I wanted to find a way to earn money doing what I love, while using my photography skills at the same time.  Now I’m selling on Amazon and Ebay, taking great pictures for my products and giving back on both platforms… I love it.

If any of you feel stuck and you have a passion you want persue, I recommend reading the book titled  “Turn Your Passion Into Profit” by Walt F. J. Goodridge.  He gives action steps for turning your passion into an actual business.

Conquer the fear by taking action, make that first step.
